Learning K3S Reports

This is the official learning guide for K3S Reports for new and existing users.

This guide is designed to help you understand basic and advanced use of K3S Reports. There are 4 sections which include User Performance, Inventory Analysis, Ranking Reports, and Other Reports. You can follow the guide in the order it is presented or jump around to any section you wish using the links on the left.

User Performance:

There are 2 reports in the User Performance category. These include PE Performance and Purchase Adjustments. These are two of the easiest reports to run and understand. The goal of these reports is to provide users with the tools to track their performance when it comes to PE Checks and Adjustments. Best Practices tells us that we want to complete PE Checks as soon as possible and keep adjustments at 6% or less. Run these reports monthly, track your progress, and reach your Buying Goals.

Inventory Analysis:

This category includes 4 reports that will allow you to analyze your suppliers and products. They will give you tools to see where your inventory currently stands. These include:

-Obsolete Products: Products that have no demand for a set amount of periods (1 year by default).

-Overstock Analysis: Lists products that are currently showing excess inventory based on K3S overstock parameters.

-Inventory Performance: Compares the Actual inventory performance to the Theoretical (forecast) inventory performance.

-Turns: Turnover (or turns) is a measurement expressing how many times per year your company is able to “use” your inventory.

Ranking Reports:

Ranking reports provide you with information in how your suppliers and products are contributing to your company's sales.

In this guide, we will focus on the contribution in terms of sales in two categories:

Dollars and Units.
