While you are preparing for Conference call #1, there are three important steps to complete:

 
1) We must ensure that the phone system is working properly before the first training session.  We will need at least one person from your company to coordinate a test conference call with K3S in order to validate the volume and clarity of the phone lines from both ends.  You must do this from the same room where the training will be done. 

2) Have each user, who will be working with K3S, attempt to sign on from their desk. Each user should be able to get to the K3S Main Menu.  By having each user sign on, we will ensure that everyone has been set up properly and their User ID is correct in the K3S files. If anyone is missing then we can get them added to K3S prior to the first training session.

**Note that when a user signs in to K3S with their user ID and password they will not immediately proceed to the K3S Main Menu.  There are a few screens that may or may not appear before a user can reach the K3S Main Menu. These screens are:
K3S-Replenish Night Job Still Running
Dates Are Different
Night Job Log
Select Product Review Batches


Information on these screens and instructions for proceeding to the Main Menu are provided below.

3) Start thinking about who will be the ‘K3S Team Leader’ for your company.  The K3S Team Leader should be a buyer and their job will be to act as the communication link between K3S and the buyers at your company.  Once the initial on-site training visit is completed, a buyer must go through the K3S Team Leader to ask questions and get help from K3S. The K3S Team Leader will also be responsible for distributing helpful emails to the group of buyers, such as ‘How to’ topics and other Replenish instructions.

These are the possible screens you could see before getting to the main screen:

1)  K3S-Replenish® Night Job Still Running



Brief Summary of Screen:

This message is informing the user that the night job is running and access is not allowed into the K3S-Replenish(R) system.  Either wait until the night job is finished or contact the Information Systems department. If the user is already signed on to K3S once the K3S night job begins, then the user will automatically be removed from the system.

How to get out of this screen: Press F3=Exit.




2)  Dates Are Different


                                                                                                                                                                    
Brief Summary of Screen:
This screen is the first that will appear if the K3S-Replenish® date does not match the IBM POWER SERVER date.

How to get out of this screen: Press ENTER.



3)  Product Interface Log

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     
Brief Summary of screen:
This screen will appear first thing every morning in K3S-Replenish®, assuming batch processing has completed. More information will be provided on this screen during training.

How to get out of this screen: Press F3=Exit.



4)  Select Product Review Batches

This screen will appear the morning after the K3S-Replenish® Period End batch processing occurs. More information will be provided on this screen during training.
