Description: How to Setup User Defined Checks U1 through U4 on Totem Pole Each customer has the capability to utilize four user defined groups of products. Products must meet unique criteria to be included in a group, which is decided upon the needs of the customer. These groups appear on the totem pole of the K3S_1020 screen as U1, U2, U3, and U4. Users can use the Select check field to look at only those products that meet the criteria of the group.
1) To setup a U1 – U4 group, you must first add logic to RPG program K3S_1530 to pick out the products that fit the criteria for the group. 2) The second step to setup U1 – U4 is to set Flag1 of the CHECK_U U1_U4_EXIT switch to 1=YES under table code type APP (Applications Control). To do this, take option 9. Operations from the main menu, choose option 3. Table codes, 1=Select on Type APP, then use 2=Change on Value CHECK_U U1_U4_EXIT. Now set Flag 1 to 1=YES and press ENTER. The table code record should look like the one pictured below:

now activated the U1 - U4 group processing. Products will start appearing in the groups
after a night job runs or after doing an F21=Recalculate on the K3S_1020 screen. 3) To see an example of where U1 – U4 products appear, start at the main menu and take option 4. Suggested Orders. When on K3S_1010 use 1=Select or pick a supplier and press ENTER. You are now on K3S_1020 as shown below where you can locate the U1, U2, U3, and U4 groups on the totem pole.
