Description:  Three Lists Needed for Conversion

There are three lists that will need to be keyed in during the conversion process: a list of Users, Buy groups, and
Locations. These lists only need to be entered once, and you can key them in now or when you run the actual
conversion process (this is described in “Running The Conversion Process”). When entering these 3 lists, you will
need to have library K3S_5CNV in your library list. When you have new Users, Buyers, or Locations in the future,
there are other methods provided within the K3S software for them to be added.

Below is an explanation of the 3 lists required and instructions for entering the lists.

1)  List of Users

Make sure library K3S_5CNV is in your library list.  On a command line enter command CALL SP0003. This will
bring up the screen pictured below:  
 
 

                                                                                
 Press F6=Add to add the first User. This will take you to the screen shown below. 

Enter the User ID, Default buy group, User name, Default location, and 0=No or 1=Yes to denote the User is
a Manager.  Press Enter when fields are complete.  Repeat the process as many times as necessary to enter
all Users, then press F3=Exit.

2)  List of Buy Groups

Buy Group            5 characters (typically buyer #s or department #s)
Description         35 characters (typically user’s name or department description)
User ID               10 characters (IBM POWER SERVER User ID associated with Buy Group)


To enter the list of Buy groups, enter the command CALL SP0002 on a command line. This will bring up the
screen pictured below:

 
  
                                                                                
Press F6=Add to add the first buy group.  After pressing F6=Add you will be directed to a screen like the one
pictured below. Enter the Buying Group code, Description, and User ID connected with the buy group and press
Enter.  Repeat the process as many times as needed to add all Buy groups. 



When all buy groups are entered, press F3=Exit.

3)  List of Locations

 
Location ID        5 characters 
Description      40 characters
Region ID          5 character


                                                                                                                 
Press F6=Add to add your first location. After pressing F6=Add, the screen below will appear. Now enter the Location
ID, Description, Region, and Sequence value for the first location you want to add.  Press Enter when all fields are
complete.  Repeat the process to add as many locations as needed. 


When you are done adding locations, press F3=Exit.
