K3S_3030 SYSSTAT=N

PR_SYSSTAT Keep N with ENTER?

This application record allows you to control whether new products, which are coded with a system status of ‘N’ for new, will keep the ‘N’ status until a buyer gives the product a starting average.  The reason products are coded as ‘N’ for new is so that buyers are aware that there are new products in the system that need to be given a good starting average so that the system can accurately suggest orders for them.

The default condition is that once a buyer goes out to the K3S_3030 Product History screen for a new product and presses ENTER, then that product loses its ‘N’ status, regardless of getting a starting average or not.  If the product was not given a starting average, then the status changes from ‘N’ to ‘S’ for slow.  If the product was given a starting average, then the status changes from ‘N’ to ‘R’ for regular.

If you would like new products to keep their ‘N’ status when a buyer goes to the K3S_3030 screen and presses ENTER without giving a starting average, set Flag 1 to 1=ON.

If you would like new products to lose their ‘N’ status when a buyer goes to the K3S_3030 screen and presses ENTER without giving a starting average, set Flag 1 to 1=OFF.
