Description: The goal of all buyers should be to set up their supplier lines in a way that a K3S-Replenish® Suggested Order rarely needs adjusting. If a buyer has to adjust every Suggested Order to produce the correct quantities needed, the supplier line(s) may be poorly set up. While at first it is expected for buyers to be uncertain, there should be little or no correction needed on a Suggested Order if set up properly. The number of adjustments made on Suggested Orders should decrease as buyers familiarize themselves with K3S-Replenish®. A good way to track buyers acceptance of K3S-Replenish® suggestions is to use the Purchase Adjustment Report. 1. Start at the Main Menu and select the Reports button. 2. Now select the Purchase Adjustments button. 3. Enter the buyer number in the field for a basic choice of one buyer. If you are unsure of the buyer number, click on the word "Buyer" and a window with all buyers will appear as shown below. There are many variables that may be selected for this report. For this demonstration we will select buyer 02 and the type of report we will run is Adjustments by buyer. Select the Run Report button on the lower right side of the page. 4. Your report will print based on your report settings. You may have an email designation or a printer designation. Below is how a PDF file for the report will appear in your email inbox 5. Once you open this email and open the attachment, the report below will appear. 6. The first page of the report above is the criteria used to create the report. Under request criteria, you will see the buy group: 02 was used for this report. 7. The next page, shown above, is the report contents as requested. Below is an explanation of the fields on the report:
8. In the example above the buyer started out adjusting 40% by dollar volume of all K3S-Replenish® Suggested Orders. As the buyer became more comfortable with the system he/she began adjusting less and less. Every buyer's goal is to adjust 5% or less of their Suggested Orders. |
