How to Use F2=Copy in Product Maintenance

Description: These instructions will show you how to use the F2=Copy function in Product Maintenance screen K3S_3000.
The F2=Copy function allows you to copy a change to all products in a supplier line. The example below will show you how
to make all of a supplier's products have the 'M' manual user status code, but note the F2=Copy can be used to mass copy
any change in the K3S_3000 Product Maintenance screens.

1. Start at the Main Menu and choose option 4. Suggested Orders

2. You are now on the K3S_1010 screen.  Use 1=Select to choose the supplier you want to work with and press Enter

3. You are now on the K3S_1020 screen for the chosen supplier.  Press F11=Product Maintenance

4. You are now on the K3S_3000 screen where you are seeing a list of all the supplier’s products.  Press F21=Start.  See sample screen below.

5. You are now on the K3S_3000 screen 1 of 5.  Locate the ‘User Status’ field.  Place ‘M’ into this field to indicate Manual Status and press F2=Copy

6. The K3S_9951 F2=Copy warning window will pop up like the one pictured below.  This window is telling you that by pressing F2=Copy again you will
copy the Manual status to all products in the line.  Press F2=Copy again.

7. After completing the copy you will return back to the K3S_3000 screen. Press F12=Previous

You are now back to the K3S_1020 screen like the one pictured below.  Press F21=Recalculate two times.  You will get a message across the bottom
of the screen saying ‘Order has been recalculated.’

Look at the Manual group (MN) on the Totem Pole and you will see that the number of Manual products matches the total number of products in the
line (RV).

8. You have now completed the steps to make all the products in a Supplier line manual.  When you get out to the history screen for one of the products
you will see the M status code appearing.  See example below:
