How to Set up Different Pricing Levels for a Supplier Based on Bracket Level

Description: These instructions will show you how to setup different pricing levels for a product based upon which bracket
level the supplier meets. This function is utilized by using the F14=Product bracket costs from the K3S_2060 screen. An
example of when this could be used is if a supplier provides different costs when an order reaches a 1,000 pound minimum
versus a 500 pound minimum.

1. Start at the Main Menu and choose 4. Suggested orders and press Enter

2. You are now on K3S_1010.  Press F2=All to get all of your suppliers to appear.  Use 1=Select to pick the supplier you want to work with and press
Enter.

3. You are now on K3S_1020.  Press F10=Suppliers to get to Supplier maintenance.

4. You are now on K3S_2000 screen 1 of 2.  Press F18=Bracket levels to get to your supplier bracket levels.

5. You are now on K3S_2060.  If your supplier brackets are not entered yet, then press F6=Add to enter the bracket levels.  If your supplier brackets
have already been entered, press F14=Product bracket costs.

6. After pressing F14=Product bracket costs you are now on K3S_3270 which has a list of all products under this supplier along with the Regular cost
of each product. See sample screen below:

7. Press F21=Start to start looking through all products.

8. You are now on K3S_3270 in Add mode. You are looking at the first product for this supplier.  You will see the Regular cost appearing along with a
place to enter cost for Bracket Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, etc.  You are able to enter a cost for 9 different bracket levels.

Example:    For the item pictured below, Ice Brkr Mnt  #500120, you will see that the Regular cost is $9.7000.  However, if we have reached
Bracket Level 1 the price is $9.50 and if we have reached Bracket Level 2 the price is $9.30.

When you are done entering bracket costs for this particular product, press Enter to Add the record and move on to the next product.

9. When you are on the next product, follow the same procedure you did in Step 8 to enter the different bracket costs for this product.  Once you have
spun through all products by pressing Enter, you will end up back on the K3S_3270 screen as shown below.

10. When you are back on K3S_3270, notice that you are on screen 1 of 9.  Screen 1 of 9 shows you the Regular cost and
Bracket Level 1 cost for each
product.

You can press F20=Toggle to get to screen 2 of 9, which will show you the Regular cost and Bracket Level 2 cost of each product.

Example:    The screen below is showing Bracket Level 2 pricing.  Notice we are on screen 2 of 9.

11. Press F12=Previous multiple times until you are back to the K3S_1020 screen as shown below.

Note:  In order to get the correct pricing for the order that you will approve, you must decide what bracket level you have
reached in order to select the correct level of pricing.
The system does not automatically use the correct pricing on products
depending upon which bracket level you are currently in.

Example:    In the example below the current suggested order is for $353,215 which meets bracket Level 2 for a Minimum of $300,000.  Thus,
we need to select the pricing for bracket Level 2.

12. After deciding which bracket level costs you need, you must press F14=Retrieve bracket level costs. This will cause a window to appear like the
one pictured below.  You now need to pick which bracket level, from 1-9, you would like to retrieve the costs from.   If you need to set the costs back
to the regular price, then you can use Level 0=Zero to specify regular product cost

Example:    In the window below we have chosen to retrieve the prices for Bracket Level 2.

13. After entering the appropriate bracket level into the above window, press F14=Retrieve costs.

14. When you are back to the K3S_1020 screen you will receive a message telling you which bracket level costs were retrieved.

Example:    The screen below tells us that Product bracket level 2 costs retrieved.

15. You will also notice that the Actual Net cost is now lower than the Actual Regular cost due to the lower product costs retrieved for Bracket Level 2.

Example:    The screen below shows that the Actual Regular Cost was $353,215.  However, because we reached Bracket Level 2 and retrieved
the Level 2 costs the Actual Net cost for this order will be $352,724.

16. Now enter SQ (SQ means suggested order quantity exists for this product) into the Select check field of the K3S_1020 screen and press Enter
This will allow us to look at all items that have suggested quantities in this order.  We will also be able to look at the Bracket level 2 costs for each
product.

17.  You are now on the K3S_1030 screen.  You will notice that the Net cost column of prices is now appearing in Reverse-image.  This signifies that
there is a cost other than the Regular cost in effect.  Press F21=Start to look through each of the products.

18. You are now on K3S_1040.  You will now see the Bracket Level 2 cost showing for the Order cost, and the Regular cost is showing below the
Bracket Level 2 cost.

Note: Any time there is a cost other than the Regular cost being used for a product, whether it is for a deal, different bracket level, etc. then
the Regular cost will appear below the Order cost.
