How to run a PE Event

The Period End (PE) Event is one of the most important parts of the K3S-Replenish® system. It is a way of getting all the buyers together to make sure they are correctly doing their PE Checks. Attached at the bottom is a printable PDF version of this web page.

Scheduling your PE Event: The PE Checks screen (screen K3S_3080 - Selected Records Review Batches) will automatically display itself when you initially sign on the first day of a new period. You will want to run your PE Event the week (if not the same day) that you turn over to a new period. We recommend having all your buyers free up an hour on the first day of a new Period. If you are unsure when any of the Periods end or begin, we have a screen to show you the schedule of when all the Periods end and begin. Choose 9. Operations from the Main Menu. Choose option 2. Period ending schedule from screen K3S_0050.

Jobs during the PE Event: Each PE Event will have two specific jobs assigned to two separate people.

The Buyer: This buyer will be going over his/her PE checks in front of everyone. While dismissing any check or making any adjustments to the product the buyer will give an explanation for their actions.

The Facilitator: This person's job is to control the flow of the meeting. They will keep track of time and make sure to allot 10-15 minutes for each one of the main PE Checks (PE1 - PE5).

How to run an Event: Presented here is a general schedule to run a PE Event.
