Enterable Field Descriptions

Location                      Display only


The location associated with the product shown.

 

Supplier                         Display only


The supplier ID and name associated with the product shown.

Sub-code                       Display only


A ten character field that provides the buyer with a way to sub define the product groups within a supplier.

 

Product                     Display only


The products ID and product description 1.

 

Description 2            Display only


The product description 2 field. If not passed from the host system this field will be blank and can be maintained through Replenish.

 

Current average


The current period average for this product.

 

Last over-ride           Display only


The date the last average override was performed.

Source of change     Display only     *F4 capable      


This code shows the source of the last change to the product average. See B.1.4. Code for Product forecast change types for more information.

 

Customer usage         Display only


The date of the customer usage batch that was last applied to the average for this product.

 

Freeze until


Using this date field will freeze the product average into the future. The user status will automatically be updated.

 

On probation until


The user status will automatically be updated.

 

Current deviation                          Display only


The current average deviation for this product.

 

Smoothed error                             Display only


A measure of product demand fluctuations which are recalculated at the end of each period end using adaptive exponential smoothing.

 

Days out of stock this period       Display only


The number of processing days that this product has had an on hand value of zero. This answer is used to calculate the estimated lost sales for companies that can not provide true demand.

 

Days out point in units


Used with the field described above, this value determines when the days out counter should be incremented. The default value is 0. When the on hand value is less than or equal to this value in units, then the counter is updated.

 

Seasonal profile


If this product has a seasonal profile assigned, it will appear here.

 

Profile activated


The date this product had a seasonal profile assigned.

 

Source of profile       *F4 capable             


The value describes the source of the product profile.

      The valid values are:

            S    System generated

            U    User created    

            V     System generated, user viewed

The current forecasting interval for this product.

      The valid values are:

            12    Monthly

            13    13 four-weekly

            52    Weekly           

 

Current year                          


The current year for this product.

 

Current period                       


The current period for this product.

      The valid values are:

            Interval    Values

               12       1-12

               13       1-13

               52       1-52

 

Period to date


Sales
                           


The period to date demand that has been successfully satisfied.

 

Outs


The period to date demand that has not seen successfully satisfied.

 

Demand


The period to date demand for this product (sales plus outs).

 

1st sale


Year
                         
 


The year the first sale of this product took place.

 

Period


The period in the year the first sale of this product took place.



Previous period values


Average


The products average demand for the previous period.

 

Deviation


The deviation for the previous period.

 

Smoothed error


A measure of product demand fluctuations which are recalculated at the end of each period end using adaptive exponential smoothing.

 

Tracking signal


The product tracking signal for the previous period. This is the percentage the average is moving up or down. No ‘smoothing’ has been applied to this.

Sales


The actual sales dollars for the previous period.

 

Lost


The lost sales dollars for the previous period.

 

Expected


The expected sales dollars for the previous period.
